今天在杂志上看到这个新的SUV了。

有没有更多的信息，比如什么时候出，什么价位之类的。我是谨慎地很感兴趣。

在一个汽车blog看到的message, 有人声称这款并不是Suv...原文如下：

Jon, I think you have a misunderstanding of the R55 MINI. I don’t understand why some people insist on keep calling it a “SUV” when in reality is just a small station wagon (Estate as they are called in the UK)just like the original BMC Traveller/Countryman Mini of the 1960’s.

The prototype pics so far posted on the R55 do not suggest any resemblance to any SUV or at the very least, MINI is not pursuing that market or intends to position the R55 as such.

Even if a future version of the R55 offers AWD, would be more akin to a present day Subaru 4WD automobile/wagon than any 4 X 4 all terrain truck based or crossover SUV.

I love the R55 because it affords a little more passenger rear seat room and more cargo room and still have the MINI package of great looks, excellent handling, fuel economy, cool factor etc.

For those of us starting a family or with children already, the R55 is a God send because us family guys will not be forced to give up our 3 door MINIs in exchange for mundane family oriented transportation devices such as 4 door sedans, Minivans or SUVs (Gasp!).

不太相信这个新闻里说的



BMW为了cut cost而放弃日本和英国这两个庞大的高消费能力的市场？这在我看来不是在cut cost而是在cut profit呀。所以我觉得这点不可信。

不过从图片上看这辆车的确不应该是suv，大小充头了就是现在的passat。
