Job Title: Support & Service Coordinator, North/Central China
Report to: Area Manager, North/Central China
Division: Beijing Office, Edexcel Ltd.

Purpose

To act as Support & Service Coordinator for vocational/academic programme in order to achieve the high-level
customer satisfaction and provide high-quality services in North & Central China, it requires keeping touch with
centres to improve customer satisfaction rating, providing daily support and feedback, launching events for the
centres to communicate and share with each other, providing necessary support for the activities the centres
organized.
The focus will be on achieving low-rate complains from centre, tutor, and students, and also on high level of
customer satisfaction from them.
The post will involve in close liaison with other team members and the Area Manager to identify and fulfil
customer requirements in a proactive and efficient manner, including visits.
Illustrative Dimensions
This is a full-time post based in Beijing/Shanghai and the jobholder will report to the Area Manager, North /
Central China.
The jobholder will have responsibility for planning, designing, implementing the centre service systems and
procedures with the purposes designated by the Area Manager and will assist in enhancing service to new
vocational centres that are in the process of application.
The post holder will be required to design, plan, implement and review centre service plans as designated by the
Area Manger according to established practises.
The role will demand innovation in the ways we communicate with, support and maintain this important
customer base. It will also demand knowledge of Edexcel’s vocational/academic products and systems to
provide high-quality services and products introduction to the centers in a specified area.

Tasks/Objectives

• Support the operation of Vocational & Academic centres by efficient communication among UK
headquarter, Regional office and centres
• Order and supply reference materials, publications and books to centres and students
• Follow up the formalities of centre/programme approval
• Facilitate centers’ using of edexcelonline, edexceloncourse and other support platform launched by
Edexcel
• Identify the demand of training and service and coordinate to deliver the customised, packaged
value-added service and training to centers
• Draft and send out certificate, award, diploma and other official papers to centres and students
• File all the centre related materials and documentations in professional means
• Communicate effectively with centers and keep update on centers’ operation
• Coordinate and support the visits to centres including EV, annual audit, etc.

Person Specification:

Essential
Higher Education in appropriate disciplines
Fluent in Chinese and English, better with CET-6 or TEM-8
Ability to work within a team and support the members in the team
Competences in Microsoft office software and on-line skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Good service skills
Very efficient, careful and organized
Bias for action and service orientated mind-set.

Desirable

Knowledge of education business and experience of positive customer care
