唉，本人2周前申请p照，请了一个以前的老师（不在一个地方）给我照片签字。我拿到他填的表格才发现，他的profession是postdoctral research assistant。觉得反正是老师，就寄给VLSA了。结果，今天收到回信，说我的保证人不acceptable ，让我再找人。我哪里去找啊？还要认识两年以上，我来英国还没满两年呢。

我不知道是不是身份的问题。还有可能的是，我与这个老师同姓，天下姓王的没有一亿，也有个七八千万吧？唉，不知道了。

大家有没有比较懂行的，给我出个主意。我导师认识我才几个月，我估计他不会为我签字。另外这种事我也不想找他，让人家觉得我不好好工作，成天想着玩。

有没有简单的办法，和VLSA抱怨一下管不管用啊？

拿护照去你附近的VLSA办事处就可以。

我们小地方，没有VLSA的办事处，不太想往maidstone跑。还有别的办法吗？

找导师可以的,不认识2年有什么关系.英国人也不是都那么死板的.难道不可以是你在国内时认识的吗?但找BRITISH签字会比较好.
