The London Overground network is a new train service managed by TfL. It will set new standards in train travel, helping passengers to move more easily around the Capital.
The network will be made up of the North London Railway from November this year, followed by the East London Railway when it opens in 2010. Eventually we plan for the overground service to form an orbital route right around London.
The London Overground routes will be shown on the Tube map and deliver an Underground-style service. Passengers will benefit from similar fast, frequent, accessible services, and safety and security standards.
Passengers will also be able to use Oyster pay-as-you-go.
